Our activities started back in 1963 with the creation of the first information bulletin, published by the CPC (Centre de Promotion des Composites, in French). This non-profit association is dedicated to the promotion of composite materials and to the development of their markets. A first conference on Composites took place in 1970, and over time, this event became the JEC World exhibition, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2020. Founded in December 1996 as a subsidiary of the CPC, The JEC Company has developed its activities since then, becoming within a few short years the leading international organization entirely dedicated to the promotion of the composite materials industry and of their applications.

Under the leadership of Mrs. Frédérique Mutel since 1996 and of Mr. Eric Pierrejean since 2018, the JEC organization has constantly increased in scope, network and number of employees, delivering a growing service to the composites sector while conducting a strong international development at the same time. Key pillars of the JEC portfolio are in particular:
